Cherudim Avalanche Custom

My latest work, a Cherudim Gundam kitbash. Parts from the Avalanche Exia were used. And I took reference from the Cherudim Sagaand Dynames Storm customs. Both are very cool mechas!
Overall, I achieve what I set out to do, to create another variation. I like the colour scheme a lot although it can be a bit "dark".
Enough said, here come the pics....

Great mod there, especially how the color of the paintjob turned out.

What color or mixture of colours did you use to achieve the color scheme?

HI Jacques,

I used a mixture of Dark Grey, Light Grey, Neutral Grey and Grey + Green. All GAIA brand colours.

again, amazing work! cant tell you how pleased i was that there was an update in your blog. but when i saw the pictures, i almost fell off my chair. amazing! and i don't even like that kit.

Amazing! I luv the way you kitbash the original kit. Now it looks even more buffy and strong!

Thanks Sky! Am glad that you like it!!!

Hi Renozlion, thanks for your commnets. I'm pretty sure we will bump into each other very soon at HAG :)

Hi Im getting a HG 1/144 astray red frame next week and i was wondering if you have any tips on painting and detailing it, Thanks.

Hi, do you weather your models? If so what techniques do you use?

Oh totally miss this one. I'm not really good at weathering or basically I know nuts. But I will give it a shot in the future.

@Sai - Dude, do it with a sharpie? Errr, don't get you lol...

So Sai, what do you think you can do with sharpie markers? Panel lining? You got to be more specific or I will be guessing what's your query lol :)

i'd like to ask a question, im a new modeler and im curious what do you use for making those custom plastic parts? thanks for anwsering :)

Hi,

If you are referring to tools, all I need is a metal rule, a hobby knife, super glue and some pla-plates.

I usually cut out the shapes and sizes I require and glue them onto the kit. Then I would sand them down to the shape i want.

I can't really describe everything. Maybe you can look at my Kampfer's WIP pics for clarifications.

haha. great work. am too amaze by the mod u do. always saw u in HAG with ur son n wife but dun dare to go over n greet u. LOL

Hey man, just walk over and introduce yourself! LOL...

Bro, Where did you get the blue part on his head?

It from the MG FAZZ Sentinel version. There is an extra set.

Thanks...I got my scrap status ZZ Gundam and i'm going to use its vfin... just asking how do you insert it on cheru's head?
